So, yesterday it was independance day here in finland so let all of us finns stand up and say: "PERKELE!" Us bagels are Finnish and BLOODY PROUD OF IT so this blog entry will be all about finnish independance and how the finns celebrate it foodwise =)
sorry, not very appetising is it..OKAY SO ANYWAY FOOD:
The finnish families usually spend their independance day with eachother eating nice food and watching tarja halonen (OUR BEAUTIFUL PRESIDENT) dress badly.. So what foods go together with Tarja's clothes? Well heres some examples of appetizers:
